Kenner Art Fail

It's not entirely clear why a fountain sculpture by world-renowned artist Lynda Benglis has been stashed away in an old Kenner sewage treatment plant for the past 30-something years. "It's kind of like if they were letting a Van Gogh or a Monet or a Renoir sit somewhere gathering dust or getting damaged," art dealer Tim Foley said."They consider it a big piece of metal. They treat it like it's a big piece of metal that they have to put somewhere." [NOLA.com]
