Luxury apartments will be taking over the former Sacred Heart gym and school building in Mid-City, if all goes according to plans. The space, purchased in June for $360,500, is just over 20,000-square feet and will be mostly two-bedroom, two-bath rentals with 25 parking spaces. Details are scarce as to what exactly will make these dwellings luxury, but developer Narinder Gupta told the Mid-City Messenger that his two sons (who happen to be doctors) plan on living there, so hey, maybe it will be fancy, afterall.
