EVERYWHERE? There's a new wave of New Orleans restaurants taking their raw bar offerings to the next level, and Eater maps eight of them to try now.

UPTOWN? Two new Vietnamese restaurants are headed Uptown in December. Mint Modern Vietnamese Bistro & Bar is heading to 5100 Freret, across the street from Dat Dog, and Pho Orchid is expanding to 2135 St. Charles Avenue in the former Le Viet Cafe.

MID CITY? Mid City Yacht Club's new menu will have you saying Holy Crab Balls. Chef Lurie Luciano's updated American classics are best enjoyed in the bar's new courtyard.
