House Gawking

Architects, architecture students and those of the general house-gawking variety stopped in the former home of Superdome designer/beloved architect Nathaniel "Buster" Curtis during an open house for the $1.096M just-listed mid-century modern property. "Though the master bedroom in the back of the house flooded during Hurricane Katrina and was gutted to the studs, the public spaces are in perfect condition. The house remains a potent time capsule of its era and an inspiration to many who care about modernist design." [N.O. Advocate/previously]
