What's worse? Charging $850 a night plus a $5,000 deposit for an unlicensed bed and breakfast or neatly omitting the fact that your wife was brutally murdered in this Broadmoor house and you're a person of interest? The man behind this airbnb ad (which was exposed by The Advocate and has since been taken down) is Archie Jefferson, a convicted felon and part of the infamous Jefferson political family. He describes the house, which he's holding on to through a rent-to-own agreement with the bank, as "quiet peaceful and a lovely setting." The disbarred lawyer ("I'm a lawyer," the ad said) wrote, "I am also a former chef so i do and enjoy all of the cooking for my guest when staying as a BNB or health retreat." Except for that part under "amenities" where it should be noted: Breakfast isn't included.
