WWII Museum Has Parking Garage Plans; Hotel Talk, Too

New, 1 comment

A tipster alerted us to The National World War II Museum's plans to construct a parking structure with 450 spaces, ground floor retail and the possible addition of another floor (either for parking or offices). Also in the works for the site? A hotel, although, details are scarce on that front so far.The museum owns the lot bordered by Magazine Street, Andrew Higgins Drive, Constance, and Poeyfarre Streets, which the parking garage would take up half of. Before this goes to the City Planning Commission and City Council, they need the neighborhood's input. The museum folk are also curious if area residents and businesses would use the parking garage for a $175/month fee. [Curbed Wire]
