Mopho Taking Shape, Ivy Opens, Eater Awards, & More

UPTOWN— Chef Sue Zemanick's new small plates/craft cocktail restaurant, Ivy, has quietly opened Uptown on Magazine. Also open: Mizado Cocina in Old Metairie, Dolce Vita wood fired pizzeria in the LGD.

MID CITY— MOPHO, the highly anticipated restaurant from former-August chef Michael Gulotta and brother Jeff Gulotta, is shaping up for a late-December opening, complete with boozy bubble tea, a fire pit, and Southeast Asian cuisine gone wild.

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Did you miss the Emeril Lagasse Foundation's third annual Boudin, Bourbon & Beer? Check out our Hangover Observations from this year's event, which drew about 4,000 attendees, and helped raise over $2 million for local educational programs.
