The Housing Authority of New Orleans should pull in about $1.5-million from the sale of scattered site properties it put up for bid this fall. "The bids ranged as high as $326,500 from the Lower Magazine Association for three properties in the 1000 block of Melpomene Street to as low as $1,200 from the Moorish Science Temple of America for two properties on Caffin Street in the Lower 9th Ward." No word yet on the proposals being reviewed for the Bywater property (pictured) at Mazant and Royal Streets. [NOLA.com]
