And, now, the answer to this week's PriceSpotter asking-price guessing game.
Address: 1032 St. Ferdinand St.
Asking Price: $389,000
The Skinny: Half of Curbed voters were spot on with the correct asking price for this PriceSpotter property, a recently renovated two-bedroom, one-bath Marigny home with original architectural details and a sweet backyard. The 1,707-square foot sidehall cottage hit the market a little over a month ago asking $399,000, and there was a $10,000 pricechop earlier this week. Only five percent guessed the cheapest option ($270,000), which is actually cheaper than what it sold for back in 2011 ($279,000). A few (14 percent) did reach for the sky with the most expensive price listed, $439,000, and who knew that could ever be a possibility back in 1981 when this place sold for just $46,500?
