Swank LGD Storefront/Loft with Rooftop Asks $595,000

It's official: gone are the days of gritty, cheap Lower Magazine Street. This sleek storefront has luxury loft living above, totaling about 2,150-square feet. The living quarters are an open floor plan, plus one private small(ish) room. Of course, a rooftop deck is always a suitable get-away space. Before the daily dose of eye candy though, a history lesson! This block of Greek Revival buildings was considered a good investment back in the 1850s, but little did the builders know that the Lower Garden District would erupt into such a bougie scene! Two of the buildings along this row cost $2,900 to build in 1851.
