A Night On Tulane Ave.

The Times-Picayune's Rich Webster went all Gonzo and spent the night in a seedy motel on Tulane Avenue. The strip, notorious for its crime, hookers, and general shadiness, is expected to experience a rebirth when the BioDistrict springs to life. Spoiler alert: "No one tried to knock our door down offering drugs or sex. There were no shootings, violent outbursts or anonymous screams for help. It was the typical nighttime action you'd expect at a motel that charges $55 a night on a street notorious for prostitution." [nola.com]
