What $1,500/Month Can Rent You In New Orleans

New, 1 comment

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various New Orleans neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $1,500/month.

? Ah, the French Quarter. You have to trek to the fourth floor (no elevator, sorry) and we can't promise that there's any sort of wall division to technically make this a one-bedroom. But hey, you're smack dab in the middle of the boozy nightlife and art galleries, and your dormer window may even overlook the backside of St. Louis Cathedral. It's $1,400 a month and apparently has 750-square feet of space (maybe we're missing a picture or two?).

? This three-bedroom, two-bath Uptown 1,800-square foot pad was recently renovated. The exterior is nothing to look twice at, but there's a washer and dryer (score!) plus a cute, private backyard with deck. $1500 and pets are allowed.

? Luxury warehouse digs in the Marigny for $1,500 a month. Almost 1,000 square feet, a rooftop terrace, pool, fitness center – you get the idea.

? Loving the pool and the fact that utilities are included, cable too! But we're kind of unsure about the kitchen utensil close-ups and unfortunate exterior. $1,450 for a furnished St. Charles Avenue one-bedroom. Update: Perhaps someone nabbed this place, as the listing has been removed.
