French Quarter Wax Museum For Sale, Price Unknown

Good news for those with big dreams of owning a French Quarter wax museum. The Musée Conti Wax Museum, opened in 1964, is up for grabs. The family "decided to sell as they face a generational change in ownership" and hope to find a buyer who will keep the business running. Perks include a fantastically creepy dungeon, Michael Jackson's wax head (the body broke), and The Wax event space upstairs. The price has yet to be announced but the assessor's office puts the total value of the property at just over $1 million. The business, the 22,000-square foot property, and 147 wax figures (including Napoleon in a bathtub) will be sold as one with a lease agreement.
