LGD Rowhouses Priced Around $600,000 to $700,000

The price tag on the Lower Garden District rowhouses from earlier this week? Between $600,000 and $700,000, City Biz reports. The 2,300-square foot homes will have "high-end kitchen appliances, reclaimed pine floors and marble finishes in the bathrooms," which is great and all, but check it, the median sale price for LGD homes from May to July 2013 was $230K. Sure, they're on the edge of the desirable Garden District and being a new construction, they're sure to be top-notch in the quality department. Keep in mind, though, these are going in the empty lot across the street from Zara's Grocery, which isn't exactly the prettiest building on the block and on the other side of Josephine Street there's the gargantuan, extremely odd Eiffel Society. Just sayin'.
