Whether you want to call this area Bywater North, New Bywater, the St. Claude neighborhood, or plain ole' Upper Ninth, most homes here are selling for half this price. Shocking sale price? Sure, especially since a spin around Google maps shows some pretty neglected properties across the street. Then again, this neighborhood is quickly changing and the house is very nice. We're weak in the knees over the heart-of-pine and Brazilian walnut floors and the backyard is sweet, too. By the way, this home was purchased from the bank back in 2006 for just $54K.
