A tipster pointed us in the direction of this City Park-area home that's on the Orleans Parish sheriff's real estate auction list. Gossip time – the five-bedroom, three-story house is currently owned by an interior designer who is married to Mark Landrieu, the brother of Mayor Mitch Landrieu. There's a $230,050 writ amount on the place but no back taxes are due, so who knows what went wrong. This isn't the first time it's been listed on the sheriff's site, though. In 2007, the same thing happened but the sale was stopped. Zillow shows the house went up for sale in 2011 with a listing price of $1M, was price chopped to $880K a month later, and a few weeks after that taken off the market.
