The proposed theatre at 514 Frenchmen St. that we told you about a couple weeks ago just received good news from the Board of Zoning Adjustments. "The variances for parking for the theater on Frenchmen St. is approved," Karen Gadbois of The Lens live-tweeted from the meeting. This means the proposed 132-seat Festival Hall Theatre will not have to provide the required 27 off-street parking spaces. In other BZA news, Eater NOLA reports that the abandoned firehouse on Laurel Street Uptown got the okay to be transformed into a coffeehouse/apartments.
