1920s Garden District Converted Church Lists For $2.5M

New, 5 comments

This is one of those Garden District dwellings that makes you stop in your tracks and wonder, "What is that place?" Well, it was a church (built in 1927), then it was home to Ballet Hysell (a fancy dance school) before being converted into a residence around 2000. The main house has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, and a "sanctuary" with 26-foot ceilings. Also included: three one-bedroom apartments with entrances around the block. The listing says these could be combined with the house, just in case the main estate isn't large enough? Or you can just rake in the $3275 per month they're pulling in.
