Check Out What's Going in South Market District's 'The Park'

New, 1 comment

Arhaus, a furniture store chain, will be holding down the fort at The Park building, the second addition to the South Market District in the CBD. A CVS pharmacy and Fetch, a place to get pets groomed, will also be setting up shop and things should be set to roll by October 2014. Other big to-dos at The Park, which will be on the corner of Girod Street and O'Keefe Avenue, include a public parking garage with electric car charging stations (a first for New Orleans!) and bicycle and car-sharing programs. The $21.3-million development will also have a 2,200-square foot "public plaza" that's meant to be the "outdoor focal point for the District" in case the retail madness gets to be too much.
