Mansion Monday Gets Gardner Realty a Fast Sale Pending

Mansion Monday was quite literally so yesterday and so was 1215 Napoleon's short life on the market. The massive Victorian along the parade route hit the market a week ago — as in, just shy of last week's Mansion Monday — and hit sale pending two days later. Gardner Realty, who posted the listing, has a great thing going with WDSU, who also posted photos of the 120 year old four bedroom. Priming buyers with Curbed NOLA favorite 2818 Laurel St the day before 1515 Napoleon hit the market had to have helped, too. So, what all went right for this home?

This two story, 3,573 square foot beauty has what's fast becoming one of our favorite home amenities — a wet bar. Add to that a spacious high-end kitchen with which to cook your (non)liquid meals, along with a serious amount of closet space for all those costumes and throws you'll be accumulating during Mardi Gras. Bedrooms are large, parking is off-street, and there's a brick patio for partying. Whoever got their hands on this home is going to have a lot of fun in a gorgeous space. They're also going to have a great time selling it if they ever decide to move. Just two years ago, 1215 Napoleon sold for $852K.
