Yesterday, the CBD Historic Landmarks Commission denied Josh Bruno and co's request to demolish a warehouse on its proposed Granaio site. Though the proposal has been slightly tweaked since it got unanimously axed half a year ago, the same concerns with overhanging spaces are ironically still hanging over the project's head as well. Neighborhood concerns towards 1035 Tchoup still include its out of place design that looks worlds away from surrounding businesses as well as its living walls that could easily jump ship from the high rise's location to its neighbors.
