1905 Peniston Takes Center Stage in Reno Happy Hour

Remember our post last year on the gorgeous but neglected 1905 Peniston St? We're here to tell you that the Cratsman-style home's tale has a happy ending, which you can hear all about at tonight's Renovators' Happy Hour Goes Uptown. This PRC event takes place at 1905 Peniston from 5:30pm to 7pm and is just $10 for non-members.

Built in 1909 by legendary architect firm Favrot and Livaudais, (the same duo behind the Cotton Exchange Building and the nearby Latter Branch library) this 4,297 square foot home has taken on a whole new life since being purchased by Brennan Fournerat, a Tulane grad who received his Masters in Sustainable Real Estate Development. Fournerat is working hard to restore the home's stained-glass windows and its dining room mural as well as adding his own touches — namely, a master suite in the billiard room.
