The bronze WWI Doughboy statue at Tulane and N Galvez has been restored and was rededicated yesterday. The Advocate's got the info on the restoration process as well as additional restorations taken up by the monumental task committee, a group of volunteers helping to restore monuments to their former glory. A look at the Doughboy now shows that the statue's two years of work were time well spent. [Advocate]
