NOLA's Got 28 Percent More Young College Grads Than in 2000

City Report just released its big, bad PDF of data on "the young and the restless" across major US metros. No, it's not tracking how many of us still need to watch our shows — what report author Joe Cotright is looking for is how many 25 to 34 year olds with a bachelor's degree or higher happen to reside in an area. How does New Orleans compare to other cities? Pretty well, actually. From 2000 to 2012, we've seen an increase in that particular demographic of 28.3%. Cotright and co say those rising numbers may help in overall revitalization. For even more data, check out the study via City Report.
