Way back in 2007 when Pierre the Pelican was just a terrifying, Louisiana-centric pipe dream, New Orleans' basketball team was the Hornets. They'd just returned full-time to the city and were actually kind of good, amassing the franchise's best record in its short life. Hoping to piggyback off that momentum was a frustrated Morris Peterson, who had burst on the scene with the Toronto Raptors as a player whose momentum simply didn't match his appeal. The Hornets signed Peterson to a four year contract in '07 and Peterson clearly thought he was in the Big Easy for the long haul. In October of that same year, he swooped up 909 Lafayette St #12. Peterson was traded in 2010 and retired the year after. He now looks to sell his chic CBD condo for $879,900.
Peterson's three bedroom, two bath corner penthouse is actually incredibly stylish and inviting, with ample natural light as well as artful light fixtures. Hardwood floors abound in the ultra-modern kitchen and the condo includes a spiral staircase that leads to a loft. The condo includes off-street parking and its fees include a "telecommunications package," though the listing doesn't go into further detail.
