The future is now — The Old 77 Hotel & Chandelier now has a robust online presence via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and they've shared some room renderings with Curbed NOLA. We amended our original posting of Old 77's big renaming reveal but in case you missed it, interim GM Steve Hoida, John Price is in, and they've nixed the library in favor of something awesome to be announced soon.
The hotel's complete transformation includes upping the total room count to 167 and continuing to play on the vibrant history of the building, a former Port of New Orleans warehouse that dates back to 1854. We could colorfully describe its elegant hardwood floors, painted ceilings and accents, and mix of textiles but we'd rather let the renderings do the talking. The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery will include such amenities as wifi and docking stations. Its restaurant and bar offerings are set to open later on in 2015. Now, onto the room renderings:
