After receiving an emphatic "hell no" from Marigny residents about setting up on St. Claude Avenue, CVS Pharmacy now has its eyes on a plot of land at Elysian Fields and Claiborne Avenues. In order for these plans to roll out, though, seven buildings would meet the wrecking ball, The Lens reports. A Chevron gas station, car wash, funeral home, two residences, and a couple janky metal structures would all be cleared out for the store. There's a meeting on deck Monday, February 17 with the Neighborhood Conservation District Commission, so do stay tuned.
