A tipster sent along these photos related to the rumblings taking place at the Western Union Telegraph Building. Turns out that Leviton, an electrical device manufacturer (think Smart-homes, lighting controls, security systems, and more) is setting up a "private high-end product showroom" in the 7,000-square-foot ground floor space. Built in 1927, the Carondelet Street building was once a bank and the upper floors are now home to Union Lofts. Construction should wrap up sometime this spring. As always, do feel free to hit up the tipline with your Construction Watch photos and insider scoop. [CurbedWire Inbox]
