JBFA Semifinalists Announced, Where to Eat in Fat City, More

NOLA— The James Beard Foundation Award semifinalists were announced this week, and while this longer list will be narrowed down to finalists in March, some of New Orleans' finest have been nominated in different categories including Peche for Best New Restaurant, JoAnn Clevenger for Oustanding Restaurateur, and many more bars, restaurants, chefs.

LGD— Rob and Emily Bechtold's beloved pop-up NOLA Smokehouse will go brick-and-mortar when they open the doors at 739 Jackson Avenue on March 8. Here's what to expect.
