Yeah, so about that whole Crescent Park opening that was supposed to happen today? Apparently it's not. The Bywater Neighborhood Association says they still haven't received an official statement from the mayor's office (imagine that!) so let the waiting game continue. According to a photo posted on the BNA's facebook page, when the ridiculously delayed park does finally open the hours will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then 7 p.m. during daylight savings time – so much for sunset strolls along the river. The barricade has been removed from the elevated pedestrian bridge at Piety Street and a tweeting tipster wrote, "lady at bridge says 'hopefully early next week'" for an opening. In the meantime, there's reportedly a "very loud man shouting repeatedly that the park is closed."
