Continuing with the name-changing trend (hi, Smoothie King Center), the tailgating space formerly known as plain old Champions Square is now an "outdoor, boutique amphitheater" called Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square. The $2.5 million reno took place to lure in touring shows and "the space will be able to accommodate 5,200 people seated and 9,000 for general-admission shows." [N.O. Advocate]
