No one's naming names yet but according to Uptown Messenger, "a very exciting tenant out of New York City" could be setting up shop in an upcoming development on Magazine Street at Nashville Avenue. The Uptown property, currently home to local shops Rare Cuts, Vom Fass, and Parcels and Post, was purchased last year by developer Butler Callahan Holdings. Plans call for the three buildings to be aligned and turned into one space with construction starting in May. A restaurant with outdoor seating would hold down the fort with retails shops sprinkled in. Rare Cuts and Parcels and Post will be moving to other Magazine Street locations and Vom Fass has yet to announce where its new set-up will be.
