185-Year-Old French Quarter Cottage Just Sold For $1.75M


After four months on the market and a $500,000 price chop off of the original ambitious asking price of $2,250,000, this 185-year-old French Quarter cottage has sold. The four-bedroom, five-bath Barracks Street home with a guesthouse, courtyard, and the ultra-Quarter luxury of a parking space, went for $1,750,000. While the Barrack Street digs does have all new electrical, wiring, and plumbing work, it's worth noting that this place sold for just $775,000 almost exactly one year ago.
