Luxe Living In The Works For Vacant Natchez St. Structure

The downtown luxury living train just keeps on chugging. The vacant building at 530 Natchez St. between Camp and Magazine Streets in the CBD has secured its building permit and is set for a $1.8 million face lift that will result in twelve high-end apartments, City Biz reports. It's still too early to talk price points but plans call for three and four-bedroom units, all with balconies and a shared courtyard with a pool and four(!) hot tubs. The developers, Jonathan and Earl Weber (the same duo behind the Jax Brewery condos) scooped up the building for $965,000 in 2012 and have their five-year plan in place on Natchez Street with a condo switcheroo when the historic tax credits expire.
