Castle Wire

Bran Castle, the 14th-century Transylvanian fortress thought to have inspired the architecture of Bram Stoker's Dracula, is unofficially on the market. The 57-room manor, perched on a remote, hill-topping 22 acres, is currently owned by Archduke Dominic of Austria-Tuscany, though over the centuries it's housed mercenary soldiers, princes of Transylvania, and Vlad the Impaler, who was imprisoned here in the 1400s. Curbed National has the full low-down, right this way. [Curbed National]
