Garden District Converted Church Sticking With $2.5M Ask

New, 2 comments

This church-turned-ballet school-turned-Garden District residence has been sitting pretty on the market since September 2013 and so far not a bit of price chopping has been associated with the $2.5 million listing price. Apparently the owner of the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath spread, who paid $500,000 for the property in 2001, is looking to downsize from the 10,000-square-foot space but "isn't in a hurry to sell." The listing agent for the Harmony Street home told Zillow, "A lot of people from the entertainment industry are looking at it. Both actors and musicians are looking to use it for a myriad of different uses." Perks include 26-foot ceilings in the "sanctuary," a living green roof, and three one-bedroom rentals that are currently bringing in $3275 per month.
