Local artist Miranda Lake offers a peek inside her darling 2,400-square-foot Uptown digs, which she calls a "special house" and says, "It's deceptively large. It looks teeny from the front but keeps going, going and going." The backyard, once an empty lot with a chain link fence, now has a lap pool, a fully restored '62 camper trailer, and a 1952 double-decker bus that Lake hopes to transform into a pool-side cabana.
