Big Reveal: 1830s French Quarter Home Wants $1.15M

And, now, the answer to this week's PriceSpotter asking-price guessing game.

Address: 928 Gov. Nicholls St.
Asking price: $1,150,000
The skinny: Ding, ding, ding! Over half (56 percent) of you guessed the correct asking price for this two-bedroom, two-bath lower French Quarter dwelling. The second most popular vote (24 percent) went to the $995,000 option and 15 percent figured the Gov. Nicholls St. spread was trying for an even mil. Only five percent guessed an $849,000 ask. Built around 1831, the 1,970-square-foot house has a study that overlooks the living area and a "lush brick courtyard with cocktail pool." The last time this place sold was 1999 and what a difference 15 years makes, the sale price then was $455,000.
