In anticipation of the New Orleans-shot 22 Jump Street opening this week, The Times-Pic points out some local scenery to look out for on the big screen. Tulane University stands in as the fictional MC State college, and an "ultra-modern police-department" was built right inside of the vacant-since-the-storm St. Maurice Catholic Church in Holy Cross. The Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park, the Crescent City Connection (of course), and the Port of New Orleans also make appearances in the flick, which is a sequel 21 Jump Street. [NOLA.com]
