Big Reveal: Renovated Irish Channel Home Wants $448,000

And, now, the answer to Friday's PriceSpotter asking-price guessing game.

Address: 728 Fourth St.
Asking price: $448,000
The skinny: While the plurality of voters (about 38 percent of y'all) guessed the correct asking price for this three-bedroom, two-bath Irish Channel house, it was a pretty close draw for the second most popular guess. Twenty-five percent went for the $496,000 option and just over 26 percent guessed the $395,000 asking price. Ten percent of voters were holding out for the least expensive ask, $322,000. There's already a sale pending on the renovated 1,680-square-foot camelback-style home, which last sold for $97,000 in 2009. Built in 1880, the Fourth Street dwelling has original heart of pine floors, 12-foot ceilings, and perfect for Outdoors Week—a yard/garden set-up with raised garden beds, "edible landscaping," and rain barrels.
