The Uptown Messenger has the scoop on a privately owned chunk of green space on Constance Street, thought by many to be a pocket park, that is riling up some neighbors in the Channel as development discussions are starting to take place. "They said I closed the park. There is no park," says the fellow who owns the piece of land, Ruppert Kohlmaier. "I was just nice and kind enough to let them use it. I'm never going to do that again...I'm all in my rights to build it. … I understand that they're mad right now. If I lived there, I probably wouldn't want a building there either — but somebody else owns it." [Uptown Messenger]
