MID CITY A bittersweet switheroo: Crescent Pie & Sausage is shuttering. Their last day open will be August 31, with all proceeds going to ALS research. Owners Bart Bell & Jeff Baron will then focus solely on opening their upcoming Tulane Avenue plate lunch spot Crescent Plate.
