Like a slow-simmering bizarro gumbo in which less is certainly more, chef Emeril Lagasse's former Lake Terrace home has finally sold after multiple price chops. The expansive 6,700 square foot estate has nearly 1/4 of its space reserved for cooking — packed with a deep fryer, wok burner, and an overkill of burners and fridges — which may have contributed to its market stagnancy. 6433 Paris Ave sold for $1.4M, which is still $50,000 lower than its last ask but far better than nothing at all. Maybe the extra cash will help Emeril get far away from his perceived financial ruin.
