Garden District Home Has Spookiest Halloween Display Yet

While the Berger home, whose St. Charles Avenue front lawn is filled with skeletons donning costumes and punny names, takes the cake for most elaborate and frequently documented Halloween display, this Garden District home definitely wins for the spookiest display we've seen. This home at the corner of Magazine and Second Streets has a creepy light show that's captivating passerby.

The display shows what appears to be dancing ghosts, lightening, googly eyes and other strange apparitions in the windows of the home, and someone captured it in a video. A real ghostly galavant? Nah, it's probably just the work of projectors. But the display also features a corresponding light show and window decorations that create an overall cool effect.

The best part of the video? The rolling commentary by the very captivated people near the camera that sounds like a yatty "Mystery Science Theater 3000":
"They had to like, empty out all their top rooms."
"No, it has to be something simpler than that."

"It's the Illuminati."

Have you spotted any cool/spooky decorations around town? Do you have a display you're proud of? Tell us about them in the comments, or send us photos here!
