Perch Owner's Audubon Place Home is As Cool As You Imagined

New Orleans design and decor mecca perch. is known for an eclectic inventory combining classic, colorful, feminine and often humorous items, and owner Caroline Robert's home accomplishes the same mix of styles. NOLA.com featured a tour of the home today, and it's as cool as you'd imagine it would be.

Inside the 7,900-square-foot Beaux-Arts home on Audubon Place classic elements of Italianate and Greek Revival architecture mix with a row of papier mache bull heads mounted on a kitchen wall, animal hide accents, unique seating, a small half-bathroom with deep indigo walls, a red telephone booth converted into a closet, and a bed canopy resembling two trees. The classic helps to temper the whimsy, and the result is envy-inducing.
