Deep South Studios Gets Planning Commission OK

New, 1 comment

Deep South Studios, the $63.5 million mega-movie production campus proposed for Algiers, went before the City Planning Commission today and got the commission's approval.

The brainchild of Algiers-born producer Scott Niemeyer, the man behind the Pitch Perfect series, Deep South Studios needed the commission to approve a conditional use permit for the 19-acre swath of land to allow for the project. Star-gazers: you better start buying up that Westbank property now before it's hot.
