Kristen Essig-Helmed Restaurant to Take Over 'Manor on Magazine' Uptown

In April 2014 the owners of the restaurant Sylvain scooped up the Uptown home that most recently housed Duke Morgan the Spa. Now we know that the home will house the restaurant Cavan, helmed by chef Kristen Essig.

The 4,600 square-foot 1880s home, known as "The Manor on Magazine," is at 3607 Magazine St. The restaurant is scheduled to open early 2016.
