We thought this home was pretty small, but compared to what we're about to show you it's practically a mansion: mechanical engineer, carpenter and Curbed reader Derek Ybarra built this 126-square-foot mobile home in 2012, and now he's selling this tiny home to build another. A modified cypress Tumbleweed home, the space is anchored by a galley kitchen that includes a refrigerator, hot plates that tuck away, a toaster oven, a large farmhouse sink and a good amount of counter space. The shower walls are constructed from metal roofing material. Red trim and a red metal roof complement the traditional exterior cedar siding. Other features include a mini-split air conditioner, aluminum clad windows and a loft skylight. The asking price for the tiny house? $29,900.
