In the spirit of Cyber Monday, here's a real estate deal (sort of): The 7,645 square-foot French Quarter mansion most recently occupied by Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their beautiful brood, which hit the market in May at $6.5 million, just got a $850,000 price chop. Now the asking price is down to $5,650,000.
The interiors of the three-story, five-bedroom mansion are still a mystery to us plebeians, but the listing says the property, which was once the recording studio of Cosimo Matassa, boasts "balconies [that] overlook the very private, landscaped courtyard complete with parterres [and] a cocktail pool, and a "grand spiral staircase, Venetian plastered walls, marble mantles, gourmet kitchen, Spanish slate roof, elevator, fireplaces, separate two-story guesthouse and parking for two cars."
