Joshua Bruno's 18,000 Sq.-Ft. Gretna Retail Redevelopment to Include Bio Walls

Joshua Bruno, the developer who brought the "living bio wall" to a Metairie strip mall and now every development wants to have "bio walls," is planning to redevelop a West Bank shopping center to include—you guessed it—those green walls.

Bruno will redevelop the building at 2102 Franklin Ave. in Gretna into West Centro, "a new retail development featuring two stories, 18,000 square feet of office and retail, and a large bio green wall." WTA Studio is the architect on the project. A website for the project includes more renderings and other information.

Another green wall'd Bruno development is the The Granaio Lofts, which finally got City Council's OK in June and we haven't heard much about it since.
